The owner of BK Services saw a need for support – at a reasonable price – for small businesses, charities and church congregations who are often under-staffed and under-budgeted. BK Services was already providing website development and site maintenance to a congregation, newsletter production to a congregation and bookkeeping services to a small business. The owner also has seven years experience as an IRS certified tax-preparer. It was a natural to offer the same services to other parties.
BK Services‘ owner is an upper management retiree from Mead Johnson (Bristol-Meyers Squibb) with twenty-three years of marketing and sales experience. He also served as a pastor, interim pastor and a supply pastor for the the Presbyterian Church USA for twenty years. He currently serves as the webmaster for a mainline church and the producer of a congregations’ newsletter, and bookkeeper of an e-commerce company.
